Description
To provide information on increases in the Parking Space Levy rates effective from 1 July 2014.
Detailed Outline
The rates for the Parking Space Levy for the financial year beginning 1 July 2014, are:
(a) $2,260, in relation to premises in a category 1 area (City of Sydney and parts of the North Sydney and Milsons Point business districts);
and
(b) $800, in relation to premises in a category 2 area (Bondi Junction, Chatswood, Parramatta, St Leonards).
Agencies will need to adjust the remuneration packages of affected employees to reflect these increased rates.
All enquiries on the calculation of motor vehicle packages or copies of calculation spreadsheets, charges and general interpretation of packages are to be referred to Mr Bruce Mitchell, Director, Operations, StateFleet on 9372 7702.
All enquires on making parking space levy payments are to be referred to the Office Of State Revenue at parking space [email protected] or 1300 139 817.
