Detailed Outline

All NSW public sector employees are invited to participate in the People Matter Employee Survey 2016, which opened across the NSW Public sector on Monday, 2 May.

Surveying employees is good organisational practice. The survey allows employees to share their perceptions of how well the public sector values and principles are applied within their organisation. It also enables employees to say what they think about important indicators such as job satisfaction, well-being at work and commitment to customer service.

The Public Service Commission uses the results of this survey to report on the overall performance of the public sector and to inform different types of sector wide workforce management initiatives. Most importantly, the results allow for improvement strategies to be evidence based, and it also allows us to recognise and celebrate our successes.

The findings from this survey, including sector, department and agency results will be made available on the Public Service Commission website during September 2016.

Be assured your responses are completely confidential and anonymous and no individual response can be identified.
