Following our recent discussions in Cabinet I wish to confirm that the appointment or re-appointment of persons as part-time members of boards, commissions, and significant non-statutory standing committees where part-time members are in receipt of remuneration (fees, allowances etc) are to be brought to Cabinet's attention before appointments are made.
