Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair, AO, will assume the administration of the Government of New South Wales on Wednesday, 8th August, 1990.

The last ordinary meeting of the Executive Council over which His Excellency Sir David Martin, KCMG, AO, will preside will be that held on Tuesday, 31st July, 1990.

The full title of the incoming Governor for use in respect of Commissions, Proclamations, etc., is:

"His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Ross Sinclair, Officer of the Order of Australia, Governor of the State of New South Wales in the Commonwealth of Australia".

In the case of certain proclamations etc., where the use of a shorter title would be appropriate the title "Rear Admiral Peter Ross Sinclair, Governor of the State of New South Wales" may be used.
