Travelling Allowances:

Travelling allowances for part-time members of Boards and Commissions have recently been reviewed following variations to the rates for Clause 39 of the Public Sector Management (General) Regulation 1988.

The following rates apply with effect an and from 1st December, 1990.

Capital cities

(including Canberra)

$149.55 per day or actual expenses as provided in Clause 47.

2. Meal Allowances:

Elsewhere

$106.50 per day or actual expenses as provided in Clause 47.

Meal allowances for travel not involving an overnight stay have been reviewed following variation in the rates of Clauses 36 of the Public Sector Management (General) Regulation 1988.

The following rates apply on and from 1St December, 1990.

Breakfast $8.40

Lunch $10.80

Dinner $19.70

Please bring these new rates to the attention of your Department, any sub-Department or other Authority coming within or associated with your administration.
