The Ministerial Private Office staff of the current Government will be considered to have ceased duty effective from close of business on Monday, 3rd April.

Chief Executive Officers should ensure that severance pay for temporary officers and salary maintenance for permanent officers of the public sector are applied in accordance with the provisions of the determination made by the Industrial Authority. The provisions of these determinations are attached.

The taxation treatment of the final pays of temporary employees are to be in line with taxation rulings for redundant staff.
