CIRCULAR No. 97-64 DISPLACED EMPLOYEES - OCTOBER 1997

Your continuing assistance with the redeployment of employees affected by organisation restructures and other administrative priorities is acknowledged.

Please find attached the list of displaced employees for October 1997. Employees on this list have already satisfied the requirements for merit selection at the job level for which they are to be considered for redeployment. Your organisation can save time and the expense of advertising by making use of this list when seeking to fill vacancies.

Staff responsible for managing your organisation’s displaced employees are invited to participate in the WMCs matching sessions which are conducted on Tuesday mornings from 9:00am. This will give them the opportunity to access Government vacancies prior to advertising and to work with the WMC in finding suitable positions for your displaced employees. Arrangements to attend these sessions can be made through your organisation's WMC contact officer.
