The purpose of this circular is to encourage Chief Executives to nominate for the 1998 Ethnic Affairs Commission Multicultural Marketing Awards.

This year's awards were launched by the Premier in May 1998. Entry is open to a diverse range of organisations including public sector agencies, advertising agencies, manufacturers, retailers, exporters and community organisations. The award categories are:

community; commercial; export; government; and advertising.

Last year's Grand Award was won by a NSW government agency, the Department of Fair Trading, for its innovative consumer credit code marketing.
