The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal has made its Determinations in relation to the abovementioned groups. The Tribunal's Reports and Determinations in relation to these two groups were published in the Government Gazette on Friday 25 September 1998. In respect of the Judges, Magistrates and Related Group Report and Determination, an erratum was also published in the Government Gazette of Friday 2 October 1998.

Generally increases of 5.5% have been granted to office holders in both groups effective from 1 October 1998.
