The purpose of this circular is to advise that on 10 September 2001 the NSW Industrial Relations Commission (Schmidt J) varied the Crown Employees (Public Service Training Wage) Award 2000.

The variation increases the wage rates in the Award in accordance with movements which have occurred in the National Training Wage Award 2000 arising from the Safety Net Adjustment 2001 and in accordance with State Wage Decision 2001 movements.

The variation to the Award is attached. The variation takes effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 10 September 2001.

Steps are being taken to place the consolidated Award on the Premier's Department Web site (http://www.dpc.nsw.gov.au)/.
