Detailed Outline
An outcome of the Review of Merit Selection within the NSW Government was a review of the Application for Employment/Transfer/Promotion.
The revised application form contains detailed information on how to apply for a job in the NSW Public Sector, the core components of the selection process and the common selection criteria.
The application form has been developed in consultation with the Director of Equal Opportunity in Public Employment, the Public Service Association and government agencies. As the form is available on the 'jobs.nsw' website, jobs.nsw.gov.au agencies are not required to include it in their electronic information packages.
Copies of the new application form will be available from the Government Printing Service when current stock has been utilised. An electronic version of the application form is also attached to this circular.
