C2001-63 Variations to Nurses Awards for 3% Increase in Rates of Pay from First Pay Period on or from 1 January 2002

Detailed Outline

The purpose of this Circular is to advise you that the Industrial Relations Commission on 26 October 2001, varied some nurses awards for a 3% increase in rates of pay and wage-related allowances. The variations are effective from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 January 2002.

The public service awards that have been varied, were:

  1. Nurses' (Department of Community Services) Interim (State) Award
  2. Health Administration Corporation and Department of Health, Nurses' (State) Award;
  3. Crown Employees (Nurses, Department of Juvenile Justice) Award; and
  4. WorkCover NSW Occupational Health Nurses' Award.

Attached are schedules of rates of pay and wage-related allowances for these awards.
