The Crown Employees (Transferred Officers Compensation) Award was varied in the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales on 9 December 2002. The Award applies to all officers and departmental temporary employees as defined in the Public Sector Employment and Management Act, 2002, employed in departments listed in Schedule 1 to the Public Sector Employment and Management Act, 2002. The variations to the Award are effective on and from 9 December 2002.
To assist departments to identify variations to the Award the changes are indicated in bold type. Copies of the Award are available on the Premier's Department website (www.dpc.nsw.gov.au).
The changes to the Award principally restore access to compensation to temporary employees in specific circumstances.
Please bring these variations to the Award to the attention of relevant staff within your organisation.
