It is therefore recommended that before an officer is given approval to travel overseas on official business, agencies should access the Department of Health website for detailed information:

and then proceed to: CHIEF HEALTH OFFICER PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT

Agencies can also access the latest Travel Advice on the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website: www.dfat.gov.au

Officers who receive approval from their Minister to travel overseas on official business at this time should ensure they keep themselves aware of any updated advice on the above website.
