The Crown Employees (Public Service Training Wage) Award 2008 was reviewed by the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW on 16 December 2010 as part of the State Wage Case 2010. As part of that process, an order was issued by the full bench to give effect to a 4.25 per cent increase, effective from 16 December 2010.
The new rates for public service trainees given in the attached table for your information. Agencies should note the increase is effective from 16 December 2010, not the next pay period commencing after.

This award applies to all classes of trainees within organisations listed in Part 1 Public Service Departments of Schedule 1 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002.
