In addition, the Department of Customer Service provides the NSW Government Have Your Say online consultation platform, available to all NSW Government departments to conduct community consultation.
Detailed Outline
Have Your Say portal
The NSW Government is committed to involving the community in decision-making on government policy, programs and services.
The Have Your Say portal on the NSW Government website (www.nsw.gov.au/have-your-say) is a central listing for all NSW Government public consultations currently open for comments and submissions.
All departments and agencies are required to list their public consultations on the Have Your Say portal. This will give your projects greater visibility to the public and your other stakeholders.
Departments and agencies can register for access to upload their consultations to the portal at www.nsw.gov.au/nsw-government-communications/have-your-say.
The Secretary of each department or agency should ensure their community engagement teams list the details of their current and future public consultation activities on the Have Your Say portal.
Have Your Say platform
In addition, the Department of Customer Service (DCS) provides the NSW Government Have Your Say online consultation platform, which is currently available to all NSW Government departments to conduct priority consultations, with one-on-one support from DCS to build, promote and analyse consultations.
This new platform offers advanced usability for departments and their customers, and easy data collection, to better inform government decision-making. We invite you to contact [email protected] to discuss onboarding your department to this new platform with our Have Your Say team.
