NOTE: This general retention and disposal authority has been superseded.
This general retention and disposal authority provides for the the authorised disposal of records which have been copied. It describes the circumstances under which the destruction of original records which have been successfully copied using microfilming or digital imaging processes is permitted under the provisions of the State Records Act 1998.
This authority replaces GDA 4 and GDA 24. Copies of these earlier authorities are available from State Records.
