This general retention and disposal authority provides for the authorised disposal of records which have been copied. It describes the circumstances and conditions under which the destruction of certain original or source records is permitted under the provisions of the State Records Act 1998 after they have been copied.
This authority replaces General Retention and Disposal Authority: imaged records (GA36). Copies of this earlier authority are available from State Records NSW.
