Following the findings and recommendations of the Royal Commission Into Productivity In The Building Industry, my memorandum no 92-11 requested all Ministers to take steps forthwith to ensure that the MBA and the BW1U are suspended from membership of any Boards, Commissions and Committees and any other consultative mechanisms associated with their administrations.

In view of the findings of the Royal Commission in relation to the Australian Federation of Construction Contractors (AFFC), I further request that the AFCC be treated in a similar manner. I would appreciate your co-operation in attending to this matter personally.
