Premier's Memorandum 1990-19 provides for the reimbursement of the cost of parking fees when part-time members of Government boards and committees drive their private vehicles to attend meetings.

In recognition of the contribution made by chairpersons of Government boards and committees, these arrangements have been extended to include the cost of parking fees or fringe benefits tax incurred by chairpersons for parking their private vehicles at any time when they are performing official duties in relation to their board or committee.

Would you please bring this change in arrangements to the attention of all agencies within your administration.
