It has been brought to my attention that a number of State Owned Corporations are giving consideration to packaging the remuneration of members of their Boards of Directors, to include such things as increased superannuation contributions and private use of a motor vehicle.

This practice is not appropriate for members of NSW Government Boards and Committees.

All organisations within your portfolio with the exception of State Owned Corporations, should be advised that such arrangements are not permitted and directed to cease the practice immediately.

Any State Owned Corporation within your portfolio which is currently packaging remuneration for members of Boards and Committees should be encouraged to cease the practice.
