This Circular is issued to supplement [Premier's] Circular 1999-10 which advised that Special Temporary Employees are to continue in employment beyond 27 March 1999 until an election result was clear.

Although the result of the general election is now known, the determination is to remain in effect until incoming Government staffing arrangements are finalised.

The Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (MaPS) branch will coordinate all staffing arrangements for Ministers' offices.

Ministers are advised not to enter into any new arrangements until advice has been received from the Premier's Department.
