The purpose of this Memorandum is to inform Ministers and Chief Executives of increases to the upper limits for meeting fees for members and chairs of category D advisory committees.

Remuneration will continue to be on a sitting fee basis. Ministers may fix rates up to the upper limit having regard to work value and responsibility. The new upper limits are:

Full Day $332 $201
Half Day $166 $101

Where daily rates are considered by Ministers to be inappropriate for some committees in this category, Ministers may write to me seeking a determination of a special annual rate on a case by case basis.

Ministers are requested to inform Premier's Department by email of any changes they make to remuneration for members of their category D committees. Refer to the contact details below.
