This general retention and disposal authority applies to both the functional records of universities and those administrative records which are not adequately covered by existing general retention and disposal authorities due to the nature of university administration.
Detailed Outline
This general retention and disposal authority identifies those records created and maintained by NSW universities (identified as public offices under the State Records Act 1998) which are required as State archives and provides approval, under the provisions of the State Records Act 1998, for the destruction of certain other records, after minimum retention periods have been met.
