Description
- The 2014-15 NSW Public Service Senior Executive Remuneration Management Framework outlines the approach for determining where within a Public Service senior executive band a senior executive role or group of roles is to be placed for the purpose of calculating their base remuneration point and discretionary remuneration range.
- The Framework contains the formulas needed to calculate the base remuneration point and discretionary remuneration range for a senior executive role (or group of roles) based on the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal Determination, effective 1 July 2014.
- The Framework also outlines in what limited circumstances the Secretary or head of a separate agency can approve remuneration beyond the discretionary remuneration range and, separately, when the remuneration of a senior executive can progress along the discretionary remuneration range.
- It is intended that the Framework is updated annually to reflect increases arising from the annual Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal remuneration determination.
- The Framework applies to all Public Service agencies as listed in Schedule 1 of the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.
