Description
The Industrial Relations Commission has approved the 2017 increase for salaries and salary related allowances from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2017.
Detailed Outline
On 21 June 2017 the Industrial Relations Commission made the Crown Employees (Public Sector - Salaries 2017) Award which increases salaries and salary related allowances for Awards and Agreements in Schedule A by 2.5 per cent from the commencement of the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2017.
On application by the Public Service Association Schedule A was amended to exclude the following two Awards:
- Crown Employees Ageing, Disability and Home Care – NSW Department of Family and Community Services (Community Living Award) 2015; and
- Crown Employees (New South Wales Department of Family and Community Services) Residential Centre Support Services Staff Award 2015.
Agencies should process the adjustments in accordance with the attached schedule for employees who were employed from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2017.
