The Industrial Relations Commission has approved the 2018 increase for salaries and salary related allowances from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2018.
This Circular applies to all Agencies employing staff under the Crown Employees (Public Sector - Salaries 2018) Award. This circular supersedes Treasury Circular TC17-08
Detailed Outline
Salaries and salary based allowances for Awards and Agreements in the amended Schedule A in the Crown Employees (Public Sector - Salaries 2018) Award are to increase by 2.5 per cent from the commencement of the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2018.
Agencies should process the adjustments to salaries and salary related allowances. See attachment Salary Rates Tables. This Circular applies to all Agencies employing staff under the Crown Employees (Public Sector - Salaries 2018) Award.
