Since the change of Government, the number of CES/SES positions has been decreasing. As a consequence, Officers have either elected right of return, resigned, been redeployed or have been placed on the unattached list. While agencies are still progressing these reductions, it is necessary to advise the Premier and Cabinet of the current status.

To ensure accurate advice to Government on reductions in the number of positions and officers, the Public Employment Office requires the following data.

• Positions deleted since March 25 1995 (Title, level/market and SES Job No)
• Full name of former occupant and gender
• Current status of former occupant (eg unattached, redeployed, resigned and right of return)
• Expected date of resolution of occupants' status (applies to "unattached officers" only)

Your assistance in compiling this information in the above format by Friday 21 July 1995, to Senior Executive Services, Level 30, 1 Farrer Place, Sydney or via facsimile on (02) 228 3102 would be appreciated (include nil returns).

Updates of any further changes in respect of CES/SES positions and/or officers should be forwarded in the same format to Senior Executive Services at the end of each month (include nil returns). The next monthly return will be for the month ending 31 August 1995. This and all subsequent returns should be submitted within (5) five working days of the end of the month.
