Thank you for assisting with the redeployment of public sector employees who have been affected by organisation restructures and other administrative priorities.
The November List of Displaced Employees is attached for your consideration.
You will be aware that displaced employees have already satisfied the requirements for merit selection at the job level for which they are to be considered for redeployment.
You will recall in the Circular accompanying the October List, I had requested that the current redeployment process be reviewed to ensure that the best possible service is available to those seeking redeployment and at the same time to ensure that your vacancies are filled in a timely manner. In this regard, your organisation would have recently received a letter from the Workforce Management Centre attaching a Priority Assessment Report form and proposing a four month trial arrangement during which time your organisation could provide comments on the design and use of the form together with any suggested enhancements.
I look forward to your organisation's contribution to the review by providing advice on the use of the Priority Assessment Report and on any other ideas for improvements to the redeployment process.
