Gateway is an external assurance system which complements internal assurance and other forms of agency analysis. It adds value by bringing external expertise and advice. It is not an audit, approval or an endorsement process. The purpose of Gateway is to provide assurance to the NSW Government, as the investor, that the projects and programs are effectively developed and delivered in line with Government objectives and, to support the delivery agencies in the development and delivery of those projects and programs to successfully achieve the outcomes.
