A review has been conducted of the car allowances payable to part-time members of Boards and Commissions, who are not in the service of the State, for the use of their private motor vehicles on official business.

The new rate is 29.8 cents per kilometre effective on and from lst October, 1990.

Please bring this new rate to the attention of your Department, Sub-Department or other Authority coming within or associated with your administration.
