Friday 11 July 1997 is National Aborigines Day.
Agencies are reminded that employees who identify as Aborigines may be granted up to one day special purpose leave so that they may participate in National Aborigines Day celebrations.
If agencies have an Aboriginal flag, they may fly it alongside the NSW flag on their buildings.
