Your continuing assistance with the redeployment of employees affected by organisation restructures and other administrative priorities is acknowledged.
Please find attached the list of displaced employees for September 1997. Employees on this list have already satisfied the requirements for merit selection at the job level for which they are to be considered for redeployment. Your organisation can save time and the expense of advertising by making use of this list when seeking to fill vacancies.
Whilst the emphasis of the policy "Managing Displaced Employees" is on appointment to positions, trial placements of displaced employees can be arranged for an agreed period, usually up to 3 months. This arrangement can be mutually beneficial to both the displaced employee and the agency, giving the displaced employee the opportunity to demonstrate their suitability for the position, and to address any learning needs or skill deficits if necessary.
