Detailed Outline
Your continuing assistance with the redeployment of employees affected by organisation restructures and other administrative priorities is acknowledged.
In the interests of advancing the redeployment opportunities of these employees, I ask that you give consideration to the possibility of these employees exchanging positions/jobs with employees of your organisation who are not affected by a restructure but who have indicated that they would accept voluntary redundancy. The Workforce Management Centre is available to assist with this process between organisations and the voluntary redundancy payment would need to be met by the organisation who had the excess employee seeking redeployment.
In addition, if your organisation is considering recruitment action it is an advantage to contact the Workforce Management Centre as an initial step for advice on the availability of any suitable employee. This could provide your organisation with access to quality staff and save the cost of advertising and the time required in the recruitment process.
Please find attached the list of displaced employees for November 1997. Employees on this list have already satisfied the requirements for merit selection at the job level for which they are to be considered for redeployment. Access to the complete information contained on the Workforce Management Centre's database of current displaced employees is available to representatives of your organisation.
For further information please contact the Workforce Management Centre on (02) 9228 4766 or its new email address on [email protected].
