I refer to Premier's Department Circular 98-97, which launched the publication of the SES Guidelines. The SES Guidelines were published in electronic form only and are accessed through the Premier's Department Web site.

I am pleased to advise that the first update of the SES Guidelines has occurred. The updated electronic version incorporates Premier's Department Circulars 98-101; 98-102; 98-104; 99-5; 99-6; 99-15 and 99-17. It is intended that the Guidelines will be updated as Memoranda and Circulars are issued.

As suggested an index has been incorporated into this version to facilitate ease of location of particular issues within the Guidelines. Comments on the revised Guidelines and suggestions for improvement is encouraged and should be directed to Tricia Dewar, Senior Policy Officer on 9228 5725 or by email [email protected].

The updated version is available on disk in Word 7 format on request by those agencies that do not yet have Internet access. Limited copies are available and will only be provided to those agencies that make such a request by: fax (02) 9228 3121 or email [email protected].
