Managing and Supporting Attendance at Work Policy Framework or html version focuses on providing public sector agencies with practical guidance in managing and supporting attendance levels.
The document contains a number of strategies that will assist public sector agencies to promote a culture of attendance at work and minimise costs. This document has been developed as a direct response to the 1998 Performance Audit Report Management of Sickness Absence in the NSW Public Sector and in consultation with the NSW Audit Office, government agencies and major public sector agencies.
Chief Executives should use this document as a guide in developing agency specific strategies in consultation with relevant unions and staff.
