Detailed Outline
Those agencies with memberships in the NRMA will have received documents for completion and return to the NRMA by 5.30 pm 17 April 2000 in relation to the proposed demutualisation.
It has been decided that it would be inappropriate for Government agencies to vote on the question of whether the demutualisation should go ahead. All agencies are therefore requested to abstain from voting on the issue.
Should the demutualisation proposal go ahead however there will be a share allocation commensurate with the agency's length of association with the NRMA.
All Chief Executive Officers are requested to report to Premier's Department on the form attached the number of shares allocated to their agency, by close of business 19 May 2000. Following the receipt of these returns, Premier's Department will provide further advice to agencies as to how the shares are to be handled.
