The August list of displaced employees currently registered with the Workforce Management Centre is attached.

Agencies are encouraged to contact the Workforce Management Centre when identifying positions that may be filled through redeployment as an initial step, for advice on the availability of any suitable displaced employees on the attached list of current displaced employees.

Chief Executive Officers are also reminded that the Workforce Management Centre is available to assist in the development of management plans for organisational change programs in accordance with Premiers Memorandum 97/27 Managing Displaced Employees and in the redeployment of displaced employees on the attached list.

All displaced employees should be registered with the Workforce Management Centre as soon as possible so that they can be assisted with their redeployment.

Organisations can support this process buy ensuring that details of displaced employees provided to the Workforce Management Centre are correct and current. These employees should also be given assistance by their organisation with resume preparation and ensuring their availability for assessment, immediate trial placement or transfer.
