Detailed Outline
An updated Information Paper has been developed to provide advice to members of the Chief Executive and Senior Executive Service employed under the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, who are separated from office for whatever reason. It outlines policy requirements, conditions of separation and processes.
It covers issues where relevant such as Right of Return, absence of salary maintenance, outplacement, superannuation and compensation.
To assist the reader Frequent asked Questions are listed at the end of the document.
Unless otherwise noted all legislative references are to the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002. It does not apply to executives employed by State Owned Corporations or under other legislation.
