This circular announces the introduction of the electronic delivery of the Public Sector Notices to commence from Wednesday 2 August 2006. The last printed copy of the Public Sector Notices will be distributed on Wednesday 26 July 2006.

Communications and Advertising, Department of Commerce, who publishes the Public Sector Notices will email a copy of the document to a single address in each agency. Agencies can then decide whether to place the document on their internal intranet, email to other addresses, or distribute hard copies of the publication as required. Accordingly all agencies are asked to advise, as soon as possible, the email address to which the Public Sector Notices is to be forwarded.

The introduction of the electronic delivery service will result in a 20% reduction in the annual fee paid by agencies for the recruitment advertising service provided by Communications and Advertising, Department of Commerce. Agencies will be aware that recruitment services not only include the publication of the Public Sector Notices but also the management of the government recruitment website jobs.nsw and the compilation and editing of the government recruitment composite advertisement published on Saturdays. Invoices for the recruitment service fee at the reduced rate will be issued shortly.
