C2007-22 Assessment of Overseas Qualifications

Agencies are advised that the Overseas Skills Advisory Service operated by the NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) has been discontinued from 25 May 2007. Overseas qualifications assessment and recognition services are largely the responsibility of the Federal Government via the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR).

Agencies should be aware that DET's State Training Centre (STC) remains responsible for trade recognition under the Apprenticeships and Traineeship Act 2001:
