As part of the Commonwealth's Simpler Super changes all agencies must notify Pillar Administration of the salaries of members of SSS and SASS as at 30 June 2007. A number of agencies have still not reported their salaries.
Salaries as at 30 June 2007 are required under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 in order to correctly calculate members' benefits.
Failure to report salaries creates unnecessary additional work for Pillar. Your agency is asked to promptly report salaries of SSS and SASS members if it has not already done so.
