Community Cabinet functions are regularly held across New South Wales. Individuals and community groups are invited to come to these functions to meet Ministers and Depmtment heads. This provides the opportunity to discuss ideas, issues and concerns about important local matters.

To ensure the best outcomes for the both community and the Govemment, it is important that portfolio CEOs are available to attend these events. Ministers may choose to be supported by one or more CEOs depending on requirements.

CEOs will need to be mindful of the need to minimise costs when making anangements to attend Community Cabinet meetings.
