This general retention and disposal authority covers audio visual programs and recordings produced by NSW public offices.

This general retention and disposal authority identifies those records created and maintained by NSW public offices which are required as State archives and provides approval, under the provisions of the State Records Act 1998, for the destruction of certain other records after minimum retention periods have been met. The authority applies to audio, film and video programs and recordings created by or on behalf of agencies to support a range of administrative and functional responsibilities.
