This general retention and disposal authority covers records documenting the provision of health care to patients and clients of the public health system.
This general retention and disposal authority identifies those records created and maintained by NSW public health services which are required as State archives and provides approval, under the provisions of the State Records Act 1998, for the destruction of certain other records, after minimum retention periods have been met.
This Authority applies: to any organisation, facility or service which is part of the New South Wales public health system and NSW public offices who provide health care services to clients, such as NSW universities.
