About
The Roads and Traffic Authority has advised of its timetable for renewal of registration and third party insurance for all Government owned vehicles, other than the Police Department fleet.
The timetable is as follows:
23 May RTA to produce renewal notices.
24-28 May RTA to despatch notices or arrange for collection.
22 June Due date for return of payment.
The Motor Accidents Authority has expressed concern that renewal of third party insurance be effected by the due date, as late payment may result in loss of coverage and a requirement for vehicle owners to meet the cost of claims during the period in which a third party policy is not in force, in addition to premium costs.
Please bring this circular to the attention of Departments and Authorities within your administration as soon as possible.
Wal Murray
Acting Premier
