The Premier's Memorandum No 1988-73 related to the Essential Services Act, 1988, and in essence requested Ministers to nominate appropriate contact officers and to develop contingency plans which would ensure a swift and appropriate Government response to a disruption in the provision of an essential service falling within an area of their Ministerial responsibility.

As the responses provided to Memorandum 1988-73 are now over 3 years old, it would be appreciated if you would arrange for a review, and up-date of the information where necessary.
