The following is a list of scheduled dates of meetings for the Capital Works Committee of Cabinet for the first half of 1994:
- 23 February
- 7 April
- 28 April
- 23 May
- 22 June
Requests to have matters listed for consideration by the Committee should be made to the Capital Works Unit of my Department as far as possible in advance of the scheduled meeting.
If it is decided that an item needs to be included on the agenda, completed submissions and all relevant supporting material should then be received by the Capital Works Unit at least ten working days before the scheduled meeting.
However, submissions which include detailed studies such as economic appraisals will need to be provided well before the meeting date to allow sufficient time for review, otherwise the item may have to be deferred to the following meeting.
These procedures will ensure that the agenda is manageable and the Committee is able to complete its meeting business.
