About
As you may be aware, proposed full-time statutory appointments and appointments of persons as part-time members of boards, commissions, and significant non-statutory standing committees are required to be brought to the attention of Cabinet.
Ministers should furnish complete, accurate and signed documentation relating to full and part-time appointments which require endorsement by Cabinet, to the Cabinet Secretariat no later than 1.00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the Tuesday Cabinet meeting at which it is proposed that the appointment be considered. To assist Ministers the attached standard report format has been prepared.
I would ask that you bring this matter to the notice of all relevant persons in organisations within your administration.
Bob Carr,
Premier.
