The Premier has asked me to request that all Ministers submit a return at the Cabinet Meeting to be held on Monday 28 August 2000 of remuneration and performance payments made to the senior executives in each Corporation, Statutory Authority or Department/Office within their portfolio.
In order to ensure consistency the information should relate to the last review of remuneration undertaken for those officers in the year 1999-00. The information to be provided will need to include:
- Identification of agency/organisation
- Name of position
- Name of Officer
- Current level of remuneration
- Performance payment made in 1999-00
I have been asked by the Premier to emphasise the importance of each Minister being able to table a list in respect of all agencies in their portfolios at Cabinet on 28 August 2000.
Senior executives is defined as all officers in the Senior Executive Service (SES) or officers on a total remuneration package above $100,000 in respect of Corporations, Statutory Authorities or Government Training Enterprises not included in the SES.
